Nollywood on-screen character, Funke Akindele may have affirmed her ongoing feud with Juliana Olayode, an actress who rose to stardom after debuting her acting career in Akindele’s Jenifa’s Diaries.
Recall that Olayode exited the popular television series over little misunderstanding alleged to be money. Not long after, the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram, prompting questions to what has happened.
Few days ago, Akindele was widely celebrated by colleagues and associates in the industry, as many believed she’s one of the few stars who are making changes in the entertainment industry.
Olayode fondly called Toyo Baby due to her role in Jenifa’s Diaries, didn’t exempt herself from those wishing well for the star actress, despite their differences.
Toyo Baby, who has always heaped praises on Akindele for her contribution to where she is now, took to her Instagram page as well, celebrating the star actress as she turned 40.
She posted; “I celebrate you ma’am @funkejenifaakindele you are beautiful, strong, hardworking, intelligent, interesting, funny, lively and you are ART in every shade.. Power woman ?? Super woman ?? I thank God for all He has done for you and through you and how much of a blessing you are to the world. God bless you now and always and make your Joy full.. However it was surprising that, despite Akindele’s response to most of the wishes on social media, she’s obviously distancing herself from Toyo Baby as she refused to like the post neither did she make any comment.
Meanwhile, Toyo Baby has made series of post before now, revealing how amazing Akindele is to her and has refused to disclose the cause of their misunderstanding if only Akindele gave her the permission.
So far, Akindele has refused to respond to all she has said neither has she debunked any one.
Following Toyo Baby’s birthday wish on Instagram, there has been mixed reactions as many questioned her refusal to even react to the birthday wish.
Some of her fans also enjoined the actress to see Akindele in person to end the fracas.
