AGF AbdulRazak U-20 Football competition: House of Prayer thrashes Harmony FC

 

House of prayer humiliated Harmony City FC by 3-0 in the opening game of the AGF AbdulRazak SAN(OFR) U-20 Football Competition that started at the Kwara Academy pitch on Saturday evening.
The tournament which was put together by Emirate Sports Concept was organized in respect of the father of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazak and to support and expose the youth.
The opening event was grazed by couple of dignitaries which included Dr. Gah Alaaya followed by the presidential candidate and national chairman of the ACPN, Alhaji Gani Galadima.
Also in attendant is the immediate past special adviser on energy to the previous Governor of Adamawa state, Alhaji Bindo, among other representatives.
The tournament which is meant to end after the Ileya festival is participated by 24 teams who are grouped to six.
Harmony City and House of Prayer are both drawn in Group A alongside Young Stars FC and Esinrogunjo FC.
After a boring opening 45 minutes – which did not produce any goal, House of Prayer came to live after restart and was rewarded for their effort when Bayo Ogunlabi shot pass the goalkeeper in the 51st minute.
Although, Harmony Boys tried to get back into the game but goals from substitutes Kunle Olowokere and Yomi Olaoke complete the damage in the 70th and 80th minute of the game.
The competition continues on Monday, where Young Stars FC and Esinrogunjo FC will compete with each other along other ten matches.
