Ever since billionaire politician Ned Nwoko married young actress, Regina Daniels, the billionaire has supported the Nollywood movie industry in different ways.
Nwoko has shown more support by coming to the aide of ailing actors.
The billionaire was said to have donated a sum of N10 million to the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to support ailing actors. According to reports, the Niger Delta prince donated the money to the guild to take care of ailing actors and also support the guild’s effort to breach into the Hollywood movie industry.
It was gathered that the AGN president Emeka Rollas paid a courtesy visit to Nwoko with other members of the guild to request financial assistance to enable members to visit Hollywood to tidy up arrangements with Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG AFTRA) and also to take care of ailing actors.
The president was said to have been accompanied by Keppy Ekpenyong Bassey, Sanni Danja, Chika Okpala (Zebrudaya), Steve Eboh (Ajebo), Ify Eze, Frank Dallas, St. Maradona Johnson, Alex Usifo Omiagbo, Rita Daniels, former Actors Guild of Nigeria chairman, Delta State and mother to Regina Daniels.
