A former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ibrahim Baba Alapa died yesterday at his Oju-Ekun residence in Ilorin aged 90.
The deceased who was a member of Kwara State House of Assembly in 1983 is survived by a wife, Hajia Raliat Ibrahim and 27 children among whom are; Hajia Kudirat Lawal, Alhaji Saka Ibrahim, Hajia Funmilayo Ibrahim, Hajia Segilola Haroon, Agboola Ibrahim, Hajia Iyabo Ibrahim, Rasheedat Abubakar, Hajia Wosilat Usman, Mallam Abdulrasaq Ibrahim and Hajia Bailiks Haroon.
Others are; Hajia Taye Abubakar and Kehinde Ibrahim, Sherifat Ibrahim, Abdulrasheed Ibrahim, Hajia Afusat Ibrahim, Mallam Abdulfatah Ibrahim, Hajia Bashirat Ibrahim and Bashir Ibrahim among others.
Janazat for the deceased was led by Imam Imale of Ilorin, Alh. Abdulhamid Abdullahi and witnessed by scores of Muslims faithful, families, friends and political associates such as Hon. Ayinla Folorunsho and former commissioner, Engr. Musa Yeketi.
Fidau for the deceased will be announced by the family later.
