A Consulting Firm, Merimond Consulting is set to partner Kwara Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) and Lubcon Company for the first Auto Fair in Kwara State.
The 3-day fair is expected to come up between 25th to 28, September, 2019 at the state Stadium complex.
The Director of the consulting firm, Mr. Olufemi Raymond Oguntokun made the disclosure during the presentation of  the Kwara Auto Fair 2019 branded T-shirt to sponsor, Lubcon on Tuesday.
He said ” the firm is into series of consulting services and one of our departments organises trade fair. We discovered that there is a  gap between buyers and sellers of automobiles so we conceptualise the idea of coming up with the first Kwara Auto Fair to bridge that gap among  motors dealers, spare parts seekers and buyers.
“We are inviting various stakeholders and associations to come and showcase their products during the fair as we are giving  price discount to boost economic activities in the state”.
“It is going to be exhibition for new, old and fairly used automobile spare parts and products for vehicles and tricycle.
The director stressed that the  partnership with Lubcon, Kwara Internal Revenue Service (KW-IRS) and 7-Up Bottling Company among others is targeted towards enhancing business activities in the state.
He said ” There is no way you can run an engine without a lubricant, Lubcon as an indigenous oil company will be there to showcase its products to the participants. We believe there will be buyers of vehicles and people will need to change and buy fuel.
“We are also partnering KW-IRS to boost Internally Generated Revenue for the state and to encourage entrepreneurship.
” From  our projection, we’re expecting close to 200 exhibitors and about 2000 participants at the fair.
In his remarks, the Managing Director of Lubcon, Mr. Taiye Williams lauded the Company for the vision of pioneering the auto fair.
He said, ” It is a welcome development and every engine needs lubricant to operate effectively and we have accepted to sponsor the fair to enhance business activities in the state.
” We have been operating  in Kwara since 1991 as the official blender to Yahama (Chinese company) among other companies.
The MD noted that the geographical location of Kwara makes it viable for economic activities.Firm to partner KW-IRS,  Lubcon on first Kwara auto fair
