Success joins Ideye at Malaga on loan

Nigeria striker Isaac Success has joined Spanish LaLiga club Malaga CF on a loan move for the rest of the season from English Premier League side Watford, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Watford and Malaga announced Success loan move on their official websites on Wednesday.

“Winger Isaac Success has agreed a deadline day loan move to Málaga. The 22-year-old, who has played 20 times for the Hornets and scored once, will spend the remainder of the 2017/18 season with the Spanish La Liga outfit,” reads the statement on Watford’s website.


Etebo signs for Las Palmas on loan

Spanish club Las Palmas have acquired the services of Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo on a six-month loan deal from Portuguese club CD Feirense with an option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season, Etebo was recently linked with a move to Portuguese giants FC Porto and Genk of Belgium but has opted to join the LaLiga club.

“Etebo arrives on loan from Club Desportivo Feirense of the First Division of Portugal. UD Las Palmas reserves the option to purchase the player. He can act as an offensive or extreme midfielder. At 23, he has already been a regular international with Nigeria,” reads a statement on the Las Palmas website on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old has featured in 18 games for Feirense this season, scoring four goals.


Arsenal signs £60m Aubameyang

Arsenal confirm they have signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund

Arsenal has confirmed the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund for a club-record fee, understood to be £60m.

The length of Aubameyang’s Arsenal deal has not been confirmed, with the club saying the Gabon international striker has signed “a long-term contract”.

Arsenal announced on their official website the transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes and the 28-year-old’s squad number will be confirmed soon.

 


Moura joins Tottenham

T ottenham have completed the £25m signing of winger Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

Moura is Tottenham’s first winter transfer window signing since 2015 when they bought Dele Alli from MK Dons and becomes the second PSG player to arrive at the club this season after Serge Aurier’s summer move.

The Brazilian arrived in London via Eurostar on Monday night and was taken to the Spurs base in Enfield on Tuesday for a medical.


Giroud completes Chelsea move

Chelsea has completed the signing of Olivier Giroud from London rivals Arsenal.

The Frenchman’s agent arrived in London on Wednesday morning to thrash out the final details of the deal taking him to Stamford Bridge on an 18-month deal for an undisclosed fee.

Sky Italy understands the deal is worth £15.3m with £2.2m in bonuses, however another source has told Sky Sports News the figure is £21m plus £3m in add-ons.


Ozil to signs Arsenal contract extension

Mesut Ozil is set to end the speculation he could leave Arsenal and sign a contract extension with the club.

The midfielder has just six months to run on his existing deal, meaning he could speak to foreign clubs about a free transfer in the summer.

However, he is now set to stay at Arsenal, with the news coming just hours after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined the club from Borussia Dortmund for around £60m.

Earlier this season Ozil was reported to be attracting interest from Manchester United, who signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January in a swap-deal which saw another attacking midfielder, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, head in the opposite direction.


Ndiaye joins Stoke City

Badou Ndiaye has passed his medical ahead of a potential Deadline Day move to Stoke City.

The Senegal international still needs to agree personal terms and secure a work permit before the transfer can be completed.

Stoke have agreed a fee of £15m with Galatasaray for the midfielder and they are hopeful the deal will be finalised by Wednesday afternoon.

Ndiaye is expected to watch Stoke’s Premier League fixture against Watford at the Bet365 Stadium on Wednesday evening.


Slimani moves to Newcastle on loan

Newcastle has agreed a deal to sign injured Leicester striker Islam Slimani on loan, according to Sky sources.

The forward landed in Newcastle by private jet on Wednesday afternoon and completed the first part of a medical before heading to a private hospital for the second part.

Slimani suffered a thigh injury in training which will sideline him for two weeks, which was initially believed to have scuppered Newcastle’s hopes of a permanent deal.
