Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YUSFON, Kwara chapter has honoured the immediate past Secretary of Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin, Ibrahim Bako
The honour was in recognition of his meritorious service to the organisation as a good ambassador, while serving as the Secretary, of Kwara United Football Club.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Kwara YUSFON, Prince Ademola Kiyesola, said the organisation is proud of Bako, adding that, YUSFON produce, not only athletes, but also administrators, and Bako is one of such.
Other dignitaries at the occasion also laud the ingenuity of Bako as a bridge-builder, astute Sports administrator and a talent developer.
He was jointly presented with a plaque, to the effect of the recognition, by Kiyesola, the State’s Director of Sports, Malam Tunde Kazeem, Director of Football, ABS Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka, Chairman Kwara Football Association, Idris Musa, among others.
Reacting, Bako expressed gratitude for the show of love and the kind words coming from all the people that have spoken about their pleasant and memorable encounters with him.
He acknowledged that all the stakeholders present at the even made the journey as Kwara United Scribe easy for him.
