JNI calls for religious freedom  

 

The Kwara State chapter of the Jama’at Nasir-Islam (JNI) under the leadership of Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has called all and sundry to continue to leave in peace and harmony for the development of the state.
This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the state chairman, Justice Abdulkadir Orire and the organisation’s Publicity Chairman, Alhaji Soliu Woru-Muhammed, issued in Ilorin.
The statement also commended the state government under the leadership of Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman for its leadership role in maintaining peace and harmony in the state.
It then advised public and private schools in the state to allow their pupils to wear uniforms that are commensurate with their religious beliefs.
The statement urged Muslim parents to give their ward and children adequate knowledge about Islam to be good ambassadors of the society.
