Anthony Nwakaeme is a great football icon in the Turkish capital city of Ankara and to show he belongs in the heart of the football fans, his statue has been erected by a fan of his club Trabzonspor.
Businessman Mustafa Bulut erected the statue at the entrance of his gas station in Ortahisar.
The statue took about six month to be completed and it cost almost $5000 (about 2.5 Million Naira).
Nwakaeme, who has made 114 appearances for Trabzonspor with 47 goals and 30 assists, is expected to visit the site soon.
