Asisat Oshoala was on Saturday, October 26, in the best form of her
life scoring a brace for Barcelona in their impressive 4-0 win over
Madrid Femenino.
The Super Falcons’ captain netted her first goal in the 43rd minute
and she scored the second immediately after the resumption for the
second half.
Jennifer Hermoso increased the scoreline to 3-0 in the 73rd minute
while Aitana Bonmati made the victory emphatic by scoring the fourth
goal in the 87th minute.
Barcelona have now extended their winning streak to seven matches in
all competitions and are topping the Spanish Primera Iberdrola after
seven games played this term.
Oshoala on the other hand has now scored eight goals for Barcelona
this season in all competitions. Asisat Oshoala continued from where
she stopped last season as she scored a hat-trick in Barcelona Ladies’
13-0 win over.
The Super Falcons star player was in fine form as Iluis Cortes’ side
began their pre-season campaign in style. Oshoala only returned to
base on Wednesday, July 31, after helping Nigeria reach the round of
16 of the Women’s World Cup in France.
