Female Disc Jockey and singer, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ
Cuppy , has revealed that her wedding will be lowkey,.
The Disc Jockey made the revelation in a statement addressed to her
father and business magnate, Femi Otedola during her Gold Gala for
Cuppy foundation.
The event which was held in Abuja was a charity one organised to raise
funds for children in the North eastern Nigeria who are in need of
humanitarian support.
DJ Cuppy, while expressing gratitude to her father, said her wedding
will be less stressful compared to the first gala.
Endearing her father as the “the Gelato King,” DJ Cuppy urged her
father not to worry about having her a massive wedding as she would
prefer a lowkey one.
Meanwhile, Otedola during the event donated N5bn to his daughter’s
foundation in support of its intervention in the Northeast.
Cuppy’s godfather, Dangote, who is the owner of the Dangote Group,
also made a donation of N100m.
Among those who attended the Gold Gala are Osinbajo, Aliko Dangote,
Nigerian Business mogul; Bukola Saraki, former senate president; Adams
Oshiomole, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC);
and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos state governor, and Dapo Abiodun, Ogun
state governor.
Cuppy Foundation is the non-profit organisation founded by Florence
Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly called DJ Cuppy.
