Enyeama turns golfer, quits Eagles

 

Former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama disclosed to media in a
visit to the Eagles camp he might be switching attention to golf as he
prepares for life after football.
The 101 capped Eagles goalkeeper revealed he admiration for the game
and expressed his intention not to return to the National team.
“To be honest, my body language is no longer with the Eagles, in fact
I have been playing golf all along and I really admire it.”
During his meeting with the team, the former Lille goalkeeper urged
the team to go for another victory when they square-up against
Lesotho.
Enyeama who made his official debut for the Super Eagles at the 2002
FIFA World Cup against England enjoyed successful club football career
in Isreal with Maccabi Haifa, Lille of France, Enyimba of Aba among
others.
He was also part of the 2013 African Cup of Nations AFCON winning squeeze.
