High Chief Eniafe of Oro for burial, Dec 28

 

The burial of Eniafe of Iludun Oro, High Chief Joseph Ibikunle Ajiboye
is slated for Saturday December 28, 2019.
In a statement signed by his son, Babatunde Chukwuma Ajiboye, the
Christian wake keep will take place 7pm on Friday December 27, 2019 at
the Cathedral of St. James, Iludun Oro while his funeral is scheduled
for 10 am the following day.
Meanwhile, the reception is to take place at St. James Primary School,
Iludun โ€“ Oro after the funeral.
He was born into the family of High Chief Eniafe Ibikunle and Madam
Abigail Ominihun Ajiboye on Sunday 15, August, 1948.
Having graduated from the University of Ibadan becoming a joint winner
of the most coveted Sir James Robertson Prize for the best graduating
student in Classics, the late Eniafe proceeded to become a member of
the first set of the National Youth Service Corps in 1973 and was
posted to Rivers State.
High Chief Ibikunle held several positions at the University of Ilorin
including Executive Assistant, Secretary, Post Graduate School and
Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellorโ€™s Office, Establishments Division,
Academic Office and Faculty of Science before his voluntary
retirement.
Upon retirement, he afterward dedicated himself to the service of the
community.
Until his death on October 22, 2019, he was the Eniafe of Iludun Oro
and a prominent member of the Oloro-in-Council.
The late Joseph Ibikunle Ajiboye is survived by his wife, children and
grandchildren.
