Hajj 2020: Kwara commences sales of online registration forms

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has begun sales of hajj
2019 registration form for intending pilgrims.
The board urges intending pilgrims with international passports to
obtain the 2019 hajj registration form online. Intending pilgrims are
to submit passport one passport and that of their guarantorโ
The National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) had on Monday announced its
readiness to galvanise its staff and the entire Nigeria Hajj family in
order to start preparation for the 2020 edition of the Holy pilgrimage
to Saudi Arabia.
In line with this, the management of NAHCON inaugurated a 14-member
committee to pre-qualify Licensing of Service providers, especially
the accommodation and feeding services in Makkah, Madina and Mashair.
The event was tagged as a watershed as it marked the first time the
committee was created as early as this time and also in which the
committee members will work at home.
Providing an insight into the historic event, the Chairman/CEO Barr.
Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammed, explained that he decided on the issue in
order to save costs in line with the Federal Governmentโs policy of
reducing the cost of Governance.
It would be recalled that a total of 2, 016 pilgrims including
officials performed the 2019 Hajj rites in Saudi Arabia in four
batches.
