Niko Kovac wants the vacant manager’s job at Arsenal and his interest
has been made known to the club’s hierarchy.
The Croatian is looking for a new job after being sacked by Bayern
Munich and hopes to replace Unai Emery at the Premier League side.
Kovac attended Everton’s 3-1 win over Chelseaon Saturday, sparking
rumours he wants to succeed Marco Silva at the Toffees, but it is the
Emirates Stadium that is his preferred destination.
Demiral set to be Mourinho’s first Spurs signing
Juventus misfit Merih Demiral is being targeted as a January signing
by Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, The Sun reports.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc refused to address
reports linking the club with a move for Erling Haaland.
The 19-year-old striker has reportedly caught the eye of Europe’s top
teams amid his incredible form for RB Salzburg.
Although Zorc admitted his side are looking for a new striker, he
would not discuss Haaland.
“The player belongs to RB Salzburg, it’s a matter of respect that you
do not speak publicly about players from other clubs,” he said.
Whitecaps eager to sign Cavallini
The Vancouver Whitecaps are trying to sign Canadia international
striker Lucas Cavallini from Puebla, Pro Soccer USA reports.
The MLS side are looking to strengthen in attack and are working on a
deal for the 26-year-old, who they tried to land last year.
AC Milan want Southampton’s Cedric
Cedric Soares could be heading back to Italy to join AC Milan,
according to reports.
The Southampton right-back spent the second half of last season on
loan at Inter but has struggled for playing time since returning to
England.
His contract expires at the end of the season and Milan are
considering approaching him.
Chelsea consider January bid for Ake
