Yoruba Community Forum (YCF), a non partisan and nongovernmental organization has congratulated the former Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki on his 57th birthday anniversary.
In a press release signed by the State Coordinator, Signed Hon Peter Oloruntoba the forum noted with satisfaction the immeasurable and unquantifiable contributions of the former number three citizen to the socio – economic and political transformation of Kwara State.
The statement added that Dr Bukola Saraki as Governor of Kwara State charted a new developmental vista for the state thereby opening new windows of opportunities that eventually turned Kwara State into a pacesetter among committee of states in Nigeria.
“Kwara State under Dr Bukola Saraki’s administration witnessed tremendous developments among which included the establishment of the Kwara State University at Malete, construction of 6 housing estate in Kwara State including one in Omu -Aran, establishment of Ilorin International Aviation College, construction of Ilorin Metropolitan Square, Ganmo Power Plant Stepdown Substation, establishment of the World Class international Diagnostic Centre, renovation of the Kwara State Stadium Complex, transformation of Ilorin Central Mosque to one of the best in Africa, renovation of the Kwara State Secretariat Complex, opening up of Kwara through construction and rehabilitation of thousand kilometers of urban and rural roads. We could go on and on. The list is endless.
