The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq has again been applauded for his Passionate interest in the Sports Enterprise as his Courage to have approve the Staging of the 7th Kwara Sports Festival is a generous gesture.
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Joana Inazua Kolo Stated this at the official Unveiling of the 7th Kwara State Sports Festival’s Logo.
Joana Kolo who was represented by the Chairman of the main Organising Committe, Hameed Adio Said the festival is an inter Local government Competition where all Participants are expected from the 16 local Government areas to feature in 31 Sporting events.
Adio added that this year’s edition would be flavoured with some attractive and meaningful Ceremonies such as torch of Unity rite and enactment of Cultural endowments of the participating Local Government.
According to MOC Chairman, Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq will be flagging off the torch of Unity at Government House on Thursday.
He reiterated that the athletes are expected to Arrive on the 25th of this Month and subsequent accreditation of them the following day.
Kwara State Sports Festival is a Preparatory Programme for National Sports Festival billed for Edo in March later in the year.
