Philanthropist donates to LEAH Charity Home

A philanthropist and the Managing Director of Rotamedics Pharmacy, Ilorin, Dr. Abdulraheem Malik has donated gift and food items to Leah Charity Home in Ilorin, Kwara State.
While presenting the items, the US-based Pharmacist called on Nigerians to render support to the less privileged so as to ameliorate their sufferings.
He expressed concern over the increase in cases of abandoned children, calling for urgent intervention from corporate organisations.
Malik appreciated the management of the home for showing concern for the less privileged children in the state.
“If more children are suffering, there is need for more people to help them. Aside from just helping, it is a move to save the future of our country.
“This is one of Rotamedics Pharmacy’s way of supporting the less privileged and giving back to the society. This is also part of the contributions of our dearest customers and based on our concern for the less privileged children, we felt we should do this regularly,” he said.
He however expressed hope of future partnership with LEAH Home as well as other orphanages in the state.
“We are committed to continuous support and rendering our little help to the less privileged. Our customers are also contributing through our various branches.
“This is the second time we are doing this with LEAH Home and as the donation grows the more what we will provide will continue to grow. We are hoping that the contribution will grow to the extent that we will be able to send them to schools and send them out internationally because I am sure some of these children are intelligent and they only need help to display their intelligence.”
