Group praises Buhari over Gbemi, Profs Yusuf, Na’Allah appointment
Kwara Youth Unity Forum (KYUF) has praised the President Muhammadu Buhari on the appointment of Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Prof. Abdukrasheed Na’Allah and Prof. Abdullahi Yusuf.
The forum in a press statement jointly signed by its national Coordinator, Comrade Shafi Ismail Alada and Secretary Dr. Muhammad Nasir Adeoye was made available to National Pilot in Ilorin on Sunday.
The statement praised the Buhari’s administration on the appointment of Senator Gbemisola Saraki as State Minister for Transport, Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’allah as Vice Chancellor University of Abuja, Prof. Abdullahi Yusuf as Chief Medical Director of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
The statement further described the appointees as great illustrious sons and daughter of Ilorin emirate.
“They have been performing wonderfully in the areas assisting the less privileged ones in the society financially”, the statement said.
It’s added that the appointees’ assistance in terms of women, youths empowerment and jobs creation as well as educational support programmes to indigent students cannot be over emphasized.
The statement described Gbemisola as a visionary, silent achiever and veritable team player to be emulated by all in the emirate and Kwara as a whole. “Senator Gbemisola Saraki is a carbon copy of her late father in all ramifications”, it’s stressed.
The statement explained that Gbemisola’s immense contribution to the socio economy development of Kwara state in terms of job creation is second to none in the emirate and described Prof Yusuf is a messiah who has been doing well for the UITH staff since he assumes office as CMD.
It listed some of his achievements to includes prompt payment of salaries, placement of the staffs, effective supervision, provision of equipment to enhance effectiveness, training, aggressive infrastructural developments and training and retraining of staffs and as a well peaceful co-existence within the hospital community.
It disclosed that in recognition of his tremendous contributions to the development of the hospital and the society in general, the forum was planning a special prayer to mark his second year in office.
The group however, commended the former Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU) Malete, Professor Abdulrasheed Na’Allah now new Vice Chancellor University of Abuja for his excellent performances at the University.
