Int’l Women Day: Saraki makes case for gender equality

 

Former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has called for the promotion of women equality around the world.
According to him, it is only through such action that gaps in our economies can be closed and also remove the barriers that hinders growth
Saraki in a tweet to mark the International Women Day further it is only then can we achieve our communal potential both locally and internationally.
The tweet read:
“And in celebration of women day around the world, I lend my voice to calls for the establishment of social-political and cultural systems that promote equality, close the gaps in our economies and remove barriers that hinder the growth of women,
