24 Months Blackout: House Leader facilitates 500KVA transformer to rescue Kwara community

The Kwara State government has provided Temidire community located in Warrah-Osin, Egbejila ward of Magaji-Ngeri Constituency in llorin West Local Government Area with a new 5000 KVA transformer.
The transformer which was facilitated by the Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Olawoyin Abubakar-Magaji, was presented to the Chairman of the Temidire Development Association, Alhaji Suleiman Onimago by by the state Commissioner for Energy, Alhaji Aliyu Sabi.
The commissioner in his remark after the presentation appealed to the community to be patient with the state government in the provision of transformers and advised them to protect it against vandalism and theft.
He said more transformers would be supplied when available to further improve the economy and social activities of residents in the area.
The House Leader, Hon Olawoyin Abubakar-Magaji expressed gratitude to the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for responding promptly to the request of the community.
The lawmaker solicited for more transformers in the area to further boost the social and economic lives of the residents.
Abubakar-Magaji also appealed to the state government to complete the construction of the ongoing Airport-Egbejila road project leading to Temidire to make life more meaningful to the people.
The community chairman, Alhaji Suleiman Onimago thanked the state government for rescuing the community from over two years of blackout.
