Foundation donates food items to Orphanage

In it bid to lessen the suffering of the less-priviledged in the society, a Non-Governmental Organization, Ahmed Ayinla Fouundation have donated food items worth millions of naira to the Islamic Orphage Organization, Ilorin-Kwara State.
As part of it’s humanitarian services, the foundation has touched many lives amongst which includelargely the downtrodden in the society.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after delivery of the food items, the chairman of the foundation, Dr. Ahmed Ayinla said the need to contribute his own qota to the society motivated him to set up the NGO.
“As part of our programmes to assist the less-priviledged in the society, we decided to come here today to share food items to some orphans under the care of Islamic Orphanage Organization headed by Architects Saefullahi Ahmad Alege.
“I run a private school and every year I enrol many orphans into the school free of charge and that has been in place for over a decade now. I paid the tuiton fees, uniform and materials of these students.”
He said: ‘I see these gesture as part of my responsibility to humanity and to ensure these students can compete favourably with their peers in the society.’
Ayinla further added that his foundation had sponsored over ten orphans out of school as he charges the well-to-do in the society to equally tow same path of humanitarian gesture as that is how it was in the saner clime.
“I think it is part of our social responsibility to give back to the environment that made us via handouts and relief materials. We have to put ourselves in the shoes of these orphans and and extend hands of fellowship to them,” he stressed.
Responding, the Head of Islamic Orphanage Organization, Alege thanked the foundation for being magnanimous with the orphanage all this while.
“This gesture by Ayinla foundation will go a long way to cushion the plight of our students.
“We thank Dr. Ayinla for this act of magnamity, he has been doing this for a period of time now as some of our students are enrolled at his school. We pray God to continue bless him more,”Alege said.
