Men of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC)kwara state command have arrested a 42 years old man, Abdulsalam Ajibola allegedly parading himself around the as a soldier in kwara.
It was gathered that, the suspect was nabbed by the tracking unit of the command.
According to the command spokesperson, Ayeni Olasunkanmi, the man has defrauded so many Nigerians.
He further explained that, the suspect was tracked down at Oke-Onigbin, in Isin LGA, kwara state on the 24th of March 2023.
“Abdulsalam was alleged to have impersonated a Soldier to defraud Abdullahi Shaheed of seven hundred thousand naira (#700,000), and Ropo Gabriel to the tune of Ninety six thousand Naira (#96,000) having promised to help them get admission into Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.
“ He was alleged to have also falsely took a Toyota picnic car from one Prophet Samuel Olugbemiga for Commercial transportation, after which he absconded.”
Olasunkanmi noted that the suspect will be arraigned before the court for prosecution.”
