Alleged Fraud: Kwara College of Health Tech suspends 2 staff

The management of Kwara State College of Health Technology (KWSCHT), Offa has suspended indefinitely two of its staff indefinitely following allegations of internet fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The affected staff are Mr. Opasola Abdullahi of Dental Surgery Department and Mr. Adebisi Adewola of the Environmental Health Department.
According to the Registrar of the College, Mallam Salman Jimoh Ayinde, the two staff have been restricted from gaining access into the college campus henceforth, warning that whoever engage in any official dealing with them does so at his or her own risk.
“The management of Kwara State College of Health Technology Offa, do not condone indiscipline, dishonesty and lack of integrity among its staff and students, hence, this should serve as a lesson to others who might want to follow their path”, the registrar said.
He added that the Provost of the College, Dr. Abdulrauf Aliyu Alabi, known for his integrity and hard work has approved disciplinary action taken against the two erring staff.
Ayinde advised staff and students of the institution to display high level of discipline carry their Identification Cards with them at all times for proper recognition in-case of any eventualities and avoid teaming up with bad gangs, going out at night to be security conscious and to inform the management of their challenges (if any) despite the closure of the college due to COVID 19 pandemic.
“Staff and students of this prestigious citadel of learning should be good ambassadors at all times” the registrar concluded.
