Members of the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Party (APC) loyal to caretaker chairman, Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa have gone spiritual over the lingering crisis rocking the party.
Under the aegis of Concerned APC Youth Stakeholders at the party secretariat on Sunday, the APC members called on divine intervention to resolve the crisis.
The youth who prayed in both Christian and Islamic way expressed hope that only God Almighty can arrest the tide and restore unity to the fold of the party adding that the situation in the party calls for peace.
Leading the Christian prayer Comr. Benjamin Adekunle enjoined all members of the party to move closer to God, stressing that when โGod helped us to defeat Goliath, we need peace and unity more than ever and thatโs why we need the Creator of heaven and earth to help address the crisis in the party.
Speaking on the same Mr. Amidu Muhammed Jimoh from Kwara North, prayed Allah to take over the affairs of party and restore peace and unity to its fold.
โWe pray to Allah to touch the heart the leaders of the party to do justice to the crisis and restore the chairmanship of Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwaโ, he added.
