Ubandawaki youth marks 10th yrs Anniversary, Saturday

The Ubandawaki Youths Development Association (UYDA) will on Saturday hold its tenth Anniversary and also honours prominent sons and daughters in the Emirate.
The event which is bid for January 30th will hold at Pakata Development Association Hall, Itanmo, Ilorin and expected to be attended by crème de la creme of notable dignitaries and indigenes in Ilorin emirate that have contributed to development of the community and humanity in general.
Speaking with National Pilot on the event, chairman of UYDA, Murtala Issa Alowone said the immediate past Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq are among the distinguished personalities to be honored at the occasion.
According to him, ‘the 10th year anniversary will include launching of Almanac and the maiden magazine of the association and award of honour for sons and daughters of Ubandawaki and other dignitaries across the state who had contributed to the growth and development of the community and the state.
“All is set for the 10th anniversary of our union alongside launching of our maiden magazine. Notable personality like Dr. Bukola Saraki will be honored at the occasion.
“Others to be awarded include the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Ambassador Nurudeen Onigba, Mall. Bolaji Abdullahi, Alh. Isiaka Shola Gold and Sheikh Suleiman Faruq Onikijipa (Almiskinubillahi).
He added that Alh. Muhamud AbdulGafar, the Ubandawaki of Pakata is the Royal Father of the Day while Abdulraheem Jibir will be the Father of the Day.
The chairman of the occasion is the Barr. Abdulraheem Adi Anifowoshe while Hajia Anafi Oladimeji Giwa is the chairperson.
Guests of Honour are the wife of Honourable Speaker, Kwara House of Assembly, Hajia Yaqub Sahadat Danladi, the Director of Personnel, Ilorin West Local Government, Alh. Mukaila Ayansola and Hon Bolakale Oloje among others.
