Entrepreneur provides free sandals for pupils in Kwara

An entrepreneur in the state and CEO of Kalia footwear production, Kale Jimoh, has donated free sandals to the indigent pupils across the three senatorial districts of the state.
The initiative was in conjunction with the Nigerian youth congress and The Association of shoe manufacturers of Nigeria (ASMAN) Kwara state chapter, themed “21st century Artisans: Qualities and Gains”.
The initiative according to Kale was geared at “Creating awareness among artisans, like a wake up call to evolve in their craft to meet up with modern and international best standard.
At the event which was held at the ECWA LGEA Primary School, Oja-Iya area of Ilorin, the state capital, was the grand finale of the program after the train of the initiative has been to the Southern and Northern senatorial districts of the state.
According to the initiator, “We have been to the north and south senatorial districts of the state, in the south we were at Community LGEA School, UMCA LGEA school and Muslim community LGEA school all of which are in Share, Ifelodun LGA, while in the North, we were at Central LGEA school ,Lafiagi, Edu LGA .
In her remark, the headmistress of the school ,Mrs Falilat Bamigbaye expressed her delight, saying “I’m so happy for this initiative and my deepest gratitude to the initiators for bringing such a good thing to our school, i really appreciate them”.
Also speaking a community leader at Oke Aluko, Alhaji Adebayo Jimoh, the Mogaji of Ile Iya Oba, noted that “this is a very commendable effort from the initiators and we are glad to receive them”
