A frontline candidate in the forthcoming Local Government election in Moro of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Moshood Alaka on Sunday advised those that have been appointed in Moro and other local governments by Governor Abdurrahman Abdulrazaq to use their appointment to unite the party.
In a congratulatory message by Alaka make available to National Pilot, the frontline aspirant for Moro further thanked the Governor for looking inward to pick the council’s caretaker chairman, Hon AbdulGaniyu Alikinla adding all hands should be on deck to support the governor to lift the state.
“I pray that Almighty Allah continue to guide and protect him and provide him with requisite wisdom and knowledge needed to pilot the affairs of the council to an enviable height during this period.
“As I felicitate with him over this appointment, I use this medium to appeal to the new caretaker chairman to use his good office to unite our party leaders and members towards the progress of the present administration.
“I further thank His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for looking inward to pick a credible and reliable person as our council boss and further assured him of my one hundred percent loyalty and support for his administration.
“I use this medium to thank all our supporters and leaders who stood by this struggle of the TIC from the beginning to the end.
“My gratitude further goes to the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Engr Danladi Yakubu Salihu, Hon. John Bello, Hon AbdulKareem Babatunde Paku, our state party leaders, Moro Local Government Excos led by Alhaji Adebayo Jimoh, all council chairmen, women leaders and other members of our team and great party”, the statement added.
