The General Manager of Kwara State Rural Electricity Board, Mallam Muazu Shaaba has disclosed that the agency has introduced new initiative for efficient service to the public.
In a chat with this medium recently, he said “We now offer advisory services on rural electrification projects in the 16 Local Government Areas of the state. Survey of electrification sites with report, engineering services, budgeting and drawings, consultancy services with procurement and other technical support are readily available with very competent manpower services required. While, construction of electric poles and provision of Hayab services are in pipe line for actualization soon,” he explained. The General Manager promised that a team will be constituted to go round the LGAs on advocacy, sensitazation and interface with the grassroots on the need to buy into the new products offered by the board.
He added, “KWREB is readily available to meet the needs and yearnings of the people to better their economic well-being at all times “.
Shaaba charged the agency’s workforce to remain resolute, committed and redouble their efforts, for the board to deliver on its mandate.
