Nigerians tasked on unity to surmount social-economical vices

Nigerians particularly, Muslims have been advised to always belief in oneness of Allah for the growth of Islam.
The Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Imam Muyideen Salman Hussein gave the charge at the annual Maolud Nabbiy of the Baaba Atoti Family Hubu Muhammad, held at Nimatoni event centre, Yidi road, Ilorin.
Sheikh Hussein also enjoined Muslim faithful to embrace peace and practice the teachings of the Holy Qu’ran and Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He called on parents and guardians to always ensure that their children and wards adhere to the teaching of Allah and deeds 9fcPeophet Muhammed.
The Islamic cleric charged Nigerians to be united as lack of unity amongst various ethnic groups in the country continue to remain a major setback to the socio-economic prosperity of the nation.
In his remarks, the founder of the Group, Sheikh Salau’deen Gibrimah Baba la Atoti said the purpose of the group was to love one another.
Sheikh Baba la Atoti, who spoke through his son, Muhammed Yusuf, said the aim of the group was to demonstrate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, pointing out that it was necessary for Muslims to emulate the prophet’s virtues of love, kindness, compassion, brotherhood and tolerance to one another.
Also in his sermon, the Naibi Agba of Offa, Sheikh Muhammed Qazeem Gbolahan called on Muslims to live in harmony for the progress of Islam.
Leading the prayer, the chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammed Bashir Soliu appreciated the efforts of Baaba Atoti in propagating Islam and prayed Allah to continue to protect and guide him in the task. He therefore enjoined other Islamic clerics to use their knowledge and wealth to propagate Islam.
