The Youth Leader of the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyinloye Oyelere is dead.
His death which occurred on Sunday morning according to family sources was confirmed by top party leaders from the ruling and opposition parties in the state including Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq
He was 54 years old and hailed from Isin local government area of Kwara South.
In a terse statement, the state APC spokesperson, Alhaji Folaranmi Tajudeen Aro said
โState youth leader, Oyinloye is dead, may God grant Him eternal restโ.
Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye described his death as both painful and devastating.
โThe Governor joins the APC family in the state to condole with relatives of the late Youth Leader. It is one tragedy too many. The Governor urges the family to take solace in the positive contributions that the late Oyinloye made during his lifetime,โ
โOn behalf of the people and government of the state, the Governor prays the Almighty God to forgive the deceased and comfort his family and entire APC family in the state.โ
Also, the State PDP Youth Leader, Prince Haliru Dantsoho Mahmud while commiserating with the deceased said family of the late APC Youth said it was shocking.
“Oyelere’s death is not only shocking and pathetic, but also a setback to the entire Kwara Youth”.
”Death is an inevitable end of everyone of us, therefore, we should always relate with love, care and the fear of the Almighty Allah, no matter our political differences.
He prayed God Almighty grants the soul of Oyelere eternal rest and bereaved family the fortitude to bare the irreparable loss.
The partyโs former gubernatorial candidate, Prof. Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem in his condolence message expressed his feelings over the death of Kwara State Youth Leader of APC in a statement signed by one of his media team, Imam Ismail. “it was a shocked and saddened death to hear the demised of Oyinloye Oyelere not only for being a young or vibrant but his uprightness in his dealings especially, his stance and efforts towards success of our party during his life time”
Abdulraheem, sympathize with his family, Isin local government and entire party members and pray to God to be pleased with his departed soul.
