Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kwara State Command, have arrested 52 years old Rauf Babatunde of Dogo village, lgbeti, Oyo State for allegedly stealing two cows belonging to Abdul Rahman Umar of the area.
This was contained in a statementย signed by the NSCDC spokesman in Kwara State, Babawale Afolabi and made available to this medium.
“On Thursday, 15/07/2021, at about 12:30pm, the Lamido of Banni, a district head, Sheik Ahmed Mohammed Baba lodged a complaint at our office, in Hamdallah about loss of two cows belonging to AbdulRahman Umar valued at N200,000”.
“Our men swung into action with help of the local vigilantes and subsequently a suspect was nabbed with the two stolen cows. There are two other accomplices who are now at large,”Babawale revealed.
He stated further that manhunt has began for the other two suspects who ran away while Babatunde has being detained at NSCDC command’s headquarters.
