Buhari visits Tinubu in London

President Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday evening, visited a former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu in London.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader is recuperating in the United Kingdom.

Buhari’s show of moral support confirms he’s in good terms with his ally contrary to speculations.

On Wednesday, James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, visited Tinubu.

A known protégé, Faleke, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, is the Chairman, House Committee on Finance.

Earlier on August 3, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu visited his political godfather.

Tinubu, a.k.a. Jagaban is expected to return to Nigeria this month.

Meanwhile, barring any last minute change in plan, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria Friday, August 13, 2021.

The President would return to Nigeria by 5pm today, after about two weeks break to the United Kingdom.

According to a police wireless message made available to newsmen, all Sector Commanders and Divisional Police Officers at the Federal Capital Territory command were directed to mobilise adequately inward Abuja.

“Mr President will be arriving Abuja from his trip outside the country tomorrow (Friday), the 13/08/2021 by 1700hrs.

“Compol (Commissioner of Police) directs all Sector Commanders and DPOs to deploy adequately inward Abuja. Time in position, 1530hrs,” the police message read in part.

DAILY POST recalls that Buhari left Nigeria for the United Kingdom on July 26 to participate in the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025.

The President also spent a few days for his medical check-up.
