Odunlade Adekola, the Nollywood actor, has taken to social media to lavish Ruth, his wife, with encomium on the occasion of her 40th birthday.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the award-winning actor shared a picture of his wife accompanied by a romantic caption wherein he professed his “eternal” love for her.
Adekola also described Ruth as “my best friend” and “love of my life” while playfully calling her “Mummy D4”.
“Happy 40th birthday to my best friend. Love Of My Life. I will love you forever, my sweetheart. NO 1 Fan of Saamualajo,” he wrote.
The couple got married in 2003. The union has been blessed with four children.
Adekola was recently in the public eye over allegations that he usually demands sex from females seeking a role in his movies.
His accusers had also mentioned some of those he allegedly slept with in the past before allowing them to feature in his films.
The Ogun-born actor vehemently denied the accusations while dismissing it as a smear campaign intended to ruin his legacy.
He said those peddling such claims should come forward with evidence that he indeed slept with ladies before giving them roles in his movies.
He added that his accusers would experience God’s wrath if they failed to prove that he indeed demanded sex in exchange for roles as they claimed.
