National Pilot staff’s son marries Fadilat

It was indeed a funfair in the ancient city of Ilorin on Sunday as a staff of National Pilot Newspaper, Alhaji. Yusuf Hussein Gold’s son married his love, Fadilat.

The Nikkah and wedding reception which was held at Ifedolapo Community, Osere, Ilorin has in attendance crème-de-la-crème in the society.

Observing the traditional and Islamic rites to join the two together as Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad laid down, the Chief Imam of Osere/Oko-Erin/Odo-Okun, Alhaji Yakub Isiaq gave a powerful sermon on what Islam teaches about wedding as he urged the couple to be tolerant and submissive to one another.

Speaking with our reporter, the groom father who is also a member of staff, National Pilot Newspaper, Alhaji Yusuf Hussein Gold, charged the new couple to make the Holy Qur’an their watchwords.

“Am much happy today seeing my son in holy matrimony with his wife. It is a day we have been waiting for and I thank Almighty Allah for making it a reality in our time.

“I want to advise both of them to be tolerant of each other and make Holy Qur’an their watchwords. I pray Allah will give them a fruit of marriage,” Hussein prayed.

The Groom, Yusuf Temidayo Hussein, while thanking people for sharing in his joy, said he filled fulfilled knotting tie with his beloved wife.

“We met some years back at a college where I was teaching and it all started like a joke, but today I thank Allah it has become a reality.

“I want to appreciate all well-wishers for taking time out of their tight schedules to be a partaker of this ceremony. Am indeed grateful,” Temidayo said.

Dignitaries at the event include the MD/Editor-In-Chief, National Pilot Newspaper, Alhaji Billy Adedamola, Alhaji Muritala Yusuf (Olopo-Ewa), Alhaji Mumini Onagun among others.
