Swedish club Falkenbergs FF have signed Rivers United forward Godwin Aguda on a two-year contract.
The Swedish club announced Aguda, 23, has signed till 2023.
Falkenbergs said Aguda, who has previously played for Enugu Rangers, gives them several options up front.
โWe have followed Godwin for quite some time. He has been a prominent player in the Nigerian league during the yearโ, said sports director Hรฅkan Nilsson.
โGodwin is an offensive player who can play in most places. He works hard for the team and we hope that he will develop in a good way with us.โ
Aguda himself said he is looking forward to this fresh challenge.
โI am happy to sign for Falkenbergs FF. Itโs a step forward for me in my career,โ he said.
โI have heard that the club is really good at taking care of their players. I know that there are several African players who are happy to belong to the team.โ
