TIC boss constructed 5-room office building in Ekiti LGA

Transition implementation Committee (TIC) chairman in all the16 Local Government Area of Kwara State have been told to continue to compliment Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq efforts through implementation of programmes and policies.

The Commissioner for local government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Architect Aliu Mohammed Saifudeen made this known at the official Commissioning of five Rooms projects for office building constructed by the TIC chairman of Ekiti local government area, Hon. Kehinde Bayode, held at the council secretariat , Araromi – Opin.

The Commissioner noted that this became imperative as the only way the people can feel the positive impact of the present administration at cutting across the dividends of democracy.

Saifudeen applauded the Ekiti local government TIC chairman for such project which according to him will relief staff of the council from office accommodation that would enable them to perform better and called for maintenance culture.

Earlier, the Council chairman , Hon. Kehinde Bayode had enumerated numerous achievements recorded within his short time in office to enable the staff of the council feel comfortable while discharging their statutory duties and acknowledged Governor AbdRahman AbdulRasaq giant stride at better the lots of the masses as well given him the opportunity to serve adding that his second face of project will commence soonest.

Bayode also identified with the initiative agenda of the state government at broadening  the state economic base through concerted efforts that would harness mineral resources in the state.

In her contribution, the wife of the TIC chairman, Ekiti local government area, Mrs. Oyeronke Bayode empowered five widows each ,which cut across all the ten wards in Ekiti local  area to enable the cushion current hardship.

She assured the widows of her continuous support and urged the beneficiaries to remain loyal to the state government in it’s vision at turn around their fortune for better.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Daramola Abigeal from. Oai ward I expressed their unflinching support to the government at all time, adding that the gesture would address their need and prayed to God to continue to guide the present government.

Highlight of the ceremony was entertainment from different cultural grounds within and outside as attended by prominent traditional rulers including chairman of the council and Olosi of Osi, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku I.
