Preparation is in top gear for the Young Lawyers’ Forum (YLF) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilorin branch, Kwara State to engage in a friendly match on the 1st-2nd of February, 2019.

The match will be played during a two days retreat programme organised by the Young Lawyers of the Ilorin branch at the AMTI Institute.

The young lawyers of the NBA and their seniors will be clashing in the match.

Also featuring in the retreat is a lecture bordering on topical issues in the legal profession.

Among the guest lecturers are the immediate past National Secretary of the NBA, Afam Maxi Osigwe and Taye Oniyide of the Ilorin Bar.

Also part of the event is the visit to the Owu Water Fall.

Speaking on the importance of the retreat, the chairman of the YLF, Barr. Dauda Olayinka John stressed that the event will further unite the Bar.

He added that the event will provide an avenue for legal practitioners to meet outside courtrooms and dialogue.

“Our colleagues in the other profession often accused us of living a confined life. That’s why we want to break that notion. All work without play makes Jack a dull boy,” Jimoh said.
