Ritual: Another man allegedly kills 9-yr-old girl in Offa
*Police arrest suspect, recover lifeless body, cash

One Alade James of Alawe compound, Offa, Kwara State is currently in police custody for the alleged killing of a nine-years-old-girl, Faith Samuel of Onireke Area of Offa for money ritual.
The suspect was caught on Saturday by the operatives of police command while trying to bury the deceased at Ikotun Area of Offa.
The Kwara Police Spokesperson, SP Ajayi Okasanmi made this known to newsmen through a press statement he released yesterday.
According to him, “at about 6:12pm of Saturday 25th September, 2021, acting on an actionable intelligence, a team of policemen arrested a man by name Alade James of Alawe compound Offa, in the process of burying a corpse at Ikotun Area of Offa.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect had killed and was burying the girl by name Faith Samuel of Onireke Area, Offa.”
Okasanmi explained that the corpse was recovered with a N1000 note buried with the lifeless body.
“The remains have been deposited at the mortuary, after certifying her dead by a doctor, for autopsy.
“The suspect confessed to the killing for money making ritual. The parents of the deceased have been contacted while the Commissioner of Police Kwara State Command, CP Tuesday Assayomo has ordered a discreet investigation into the murder.”
