Kwara North group reiterates quest for 2023 Guber poll

A Kwara North political interest group, Kwara North Frontiers, has reiterated its resolute in achieving the objective of the group which is to ensure the election of the governor from the northern part of the state, come 2023.
The group noted that, they are ready to defend the interest of the people of Kwara North, with all their power, in order to actualize their gubernatorial goal in the next general election.
This is contained in a rejoinder written by the group on Sunday, 3rd of October and obtained by National Pilot, titled, ‘Re-Kwara PDP makes u-turn on Kwara North Guber 2023’, the rejoinder was signed by Adamu Suleiman Tobu, Moses Oyekola Gbadebo, Attahiru Rifun Haruna, Ahmed Ndagi Issa and Muktar Abubakar Zume.
The statement is said to be a response to an analysis report by a news platform, Inside News, that the main opposition party in the state, PDP, “has changed its mind, and has decided to zone the Governorship Office in Kwara, in 2023, to Central Zone”, the rejoinder reads.
The group said, “The said analysis can best be described as not only unGodly but also repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience. We are aware that our brothers in Kwara Central and South Senatorial Districts have displayed genuine sincerity of purpose in openly supporting Kwara North’s quest for power shift”.
They added that, it will against natural sense of equity, whereby the Kwara central zone would have had 16 years at the expiration of Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s tenure.
According to the group, the zone boasts of several capable people that can man the administration of the State, against the false notion that the zone doesn’t have any credible candidate.
Adding “that kwara North have the likes of Hon.Ahman Aliyu Bahago, Hon.Zakari Mohammed, Alhaji Tajudeen Audu, Prof. Mohammed Gana and Alhaji Shuaibu Yaman Abdullahi, among several others”.
The statement dismissed the writer of the said report as,”one of the paid lackeys and moles of the kwara State Government amongst us, who are desirous of creating crisis within our fold”.
The group also described the report as an “unintelligent permutation is bereft of logic, and incoherent, which should be ignored”.
Kwara North Frontiers also said that the writer’s permutations does not hold water and dead on arrival, in there own words, “We therefore tell Mr Inside News and the sponsors that your ideas and permutations are dead on arrival
Kwara North Frontier reiterated that “any attempt by any group of charlatans and paid agents to derail the KWN Guber 2023 Project will be resisted by the last drop of our blood”.
They however stressed that “Northern Zone will fight legitimately to get a kwara Northerner in Government House, come 2023, with the cooperation of our Good people of the Central and Southern Zones”.
