Kwara School for Special Needs holds Inter-House competition, November

All is now set to put smile on the faces of students of the Kwara State School for the Special Needs as they celebrate the 38th edition of their annual Inter – house Athletics and Football competition.

The event which is expected to kick November 11th at the Kwara State School for Special Needs along Jebba Road, Ilorin.

The Hope Games for the disable is organized annually by Adebisi Fabiyi Foundation, Omun – Aran and proudly sponsored by Dr. Elisha Adebiyi who has consistently powered the fiesta to discovered talented athletes from the School of Special Needs.

Speaking with our reporter, the games coordinator, Adebayo Ademola Jatto said this year’s competition starts with football matches while athletics competition will follow the following day.

“This year tournament will hold at the Kwara state school for special needs. Football competition will come up on Thursday, November, 11th while the grand finale and Athletics competition will hold at the same venue on Friday, November, 12th,” Jatto said.Dignitaries expected at the colourful event includes, the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Kayode Alabi, the Permanent Secretary , Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, the Executive Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Bola Magaji among others.

The grand finale will be witness by the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Hon. Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Modibo Kawu, the Commissioner of Police, Special Apostle, Evang. R.A Adeoti and Chief Wosilat Macarty, the Bobaselu of Offa.
