Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has suffered a terrible loss as his father reportedly passed away on Monday night.
Prince Hakeem Adeyemi Kosoko, the Permanent Secretary of Education District 4, died after suffering an undisclosed ailment.
It was revealed that Mr Kosoko went abroad due to the ailment and his position had to be temporarily filled by a replacement for over a month. He recently returned to Nigeria to recover. Sadly, he passed.
He is survived by his wife, children, including Adekunle Gold, and more family members. The singer is yet to react to the news.
This is coming months after Adekunle Gold took to his Instagram page to celebrate his father’s achievements on December 31, 2018. The star could not contain his happiness as he revealed that he shed tears of joy for his dad.
Adekunle Gold, took to his Instagram page to shower accolades on his father as he listed his achievements. His dad, was honoured by the Lagos State government and appointed as the Tutor General/Permanent Secretary for Education.
