Hon. Olododo moves motion for establishment of mixed boarding Air Force Secondary School in Ilorin

The Honorable representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, Hon. Abdulganiyu S. Cook Olododo, today 30th November, 2021 at the floor of the House of Representatives moved a motion on the ‘Need to Establish Mixed Boarding Air Force Comprehensive Secondary School In Ilorin, Kwara State’.

Hon. Olododo in the motion, noted that among the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) formations in the country that have NAF primary schools without NAF secondary Schools is the NAF formation in Ilorin.

He noted further that considering the harmonious and peaceful nature of Kwara State and Ilorin in particular, establishing a mixed boarding NAF Comprehensive Secondary School in Ilorin will not be out of place.

He observed further that “a mixed boarding NAF Comprehensive Secondary School in Ilorin, Kwara State will not only alleviate the suffering of the NAF personnel in getting their children and wards trained in NAF schools but will also create job opportunities and infrastructural development in Kwara State”.

Hon. Olododo finally moved the House to urge the Nigerian Air Force through her Directorate of Education to establish a mixed boarding Secondary School in Ilorin, Kwara State.

This motion makes the second motion moved by Hon. Olododo within two weeks.

It will be recalled that just on 16th November, 2021, Hon. Olododo earlier moved a motion on the floor of the House calling for construction of Ibadan-Osogbo-Ilorin segment of the Lagos-Kano Standard Gauge Railway line to boost economic activities of the State.
