Shun hypocrisy, fear Allah, Cleric warns Muslims

Muslims have been enjoined to shun all form of hypocrisy ,for it is an act that displeases Allah, whereby if forgiveness is not seek, it might attract punishment upon a person.

This was said on Friday at the Ilorin central Mosque ,by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Imam Solihu, while delivering his weekly sermon to the massive crowd present at the historic Mosque.

The Imam stressed that, Muslims should fear Allah and avoid the act of hypocrisy against their fellow human beings, noting that hypocrisy jeopardizes one’s good deed in sight of Allah.

Adding that, hypocrisy is a disease that is eating deep into our community lives and causing disunity among ourselves, which is why people are at loggerheads with one another for reason.

The Arch cleric also urged Muslims to avoid using foul language not just to Muslims but to their fellow human, because Allah doesn’t love those who uses foul language in their fellow human.

Noting that, Islam preaches mutual respect and friendship among people of all races and religion, stating that Prophet Muhammad is an embodiment of respect, because he always give respect to everyone that came his way.

Sheikh Bashir also call on the people of the country to give peace a chance, saying that it is only through peace can the country attain development, noting that no nation in conflict can develop itself but rather destroy all they have built over years.

“We should all join hands together in peace and end all our differences, if we want our community and country to develop because no nation battling with conflict can enjoy development.

“The problem of insurgency is drawing our country back, so I pray that almighty Allah bring back peace to our dear country, Nigeria, in order for the country to grow and develop better.” the cleric prays.

Towards the end of the sermon, urged Muslims to intensify their worship of Allah, saying that, “The worship of Allah is the primary reason why we’re on Earth and we should take it as priority over every other things.” he said.
