Legendary Indomitable Lions striker and Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) president, Samuel Eto’o, has congratulated the Super Eagles for their win against Sudan.
The former Barcelona star also praised the Eagles for progressing into the round of 16.
After a hard fought win against Egypt in their opener, the Eagles followed it up with a dominant 3-1 win against the Sudanese.
Following the win, the three-time AFCON winners top Group D on six points after two games.
And reacting to the win, Eto’o wrote on Twitter:”Well done Super Eagles for securing your second victory and moving on to the knockout stage”.
The Eagles will take on Guinea-Bissau in their last group game on Wednesday.
