The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke has secured victory in 17 out of 30 local government areas during Osun 2022 governorship election on Saturday.
While Governor Gboyega Oyetola of APC won in 13 local government areas.
Final collation shows APC polled 375,097 votes across the 30 local government areas while PDP garnered highest number of votes with 403,369.
The margin between two major parties is 28,272 votes.
Although, INEC Returning Officer for Osun 2022 is yet to announce winner as at 6am on Sunday July 17, 2022, Adeleke has emerged winner
