Last week, the art platform, Atystic organized a private painting session for twenty individuals as a means to possibly influence and encourage anyone that art is nothing short of fun. This is the first of such event in the city of Ilorin, Kwara state.
The event which involved canvas painting spanned for a total of 6 hours where participants found themselves having a lot more fun than they had expected. โWill there be another one, my brother would definitely love this.โ, one of the participants had asked, โitโs my first time painting, I love it!โ another said, excitedly. Discovering new hobbies alongside interacting and connecting with individuals such as oneself in times like this is just what the youthful people need. Seeing as everyone who was present at the event acquired the basic knowledge in painting, mixing colours and handling paint brushes, all while drawing out their inner creative selves and expressing themselves on the canvas, it is to note that this served as an enlightenment programme also asides being entertaining.
It is safe to come to the conclusion that Atystic successfully achieved the purpose of this event. Yahaya Yisa, speaking on the success of the event, says more will be coming soon, in his words โThe people are asking for more and theyโll get it.
