Cruzeiro deny Celtic bid for Bruno
Cruzeiro have denied Celtic have made an offer for centre-back Fabricio Bruno.
The 23-year-old centre-back is taking the Brazilian side to court to get released from his contract because he says he has not been paid for months.
Reports claimed he was on his way to Scotland, but Cruzeiro have released an official statement dismissing such speculation because Celtic’s bid was a “very small amount”.
Man Utd plot Bellingham bid
Manchester United have set their sights on Birmingham starlet Jude Bellingham, according to The Telegraph.
The 16-year-old has been a key player for the Championship outfit, having made 20 appearances for the senior side this season.
And United assistant manager Mike Phelan has been scouting Bellingham and they are said to have made him one of their top targets.
Rangers commit Maxwell to new deal
Rangers youngster James Maxwell has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club, it has been confirmed.
The 18-year-old is yet to make his debut for the senior side since joining from Falkirk two years ago, but has impressed in the academy to earn a new contract.
The left-back has penned a new deal that will see him tied to the club until 2022.
Volland set for Premier League
Bayer Leverkusen forward Kevin Volland is a transfer target for Arsenal under their new manager Mikel Arteta.
Sky Sports report that the 27-year-old has been put forward as an option for Arteta to consider. The German has 18 months remaining on his contract at the Bundesliga club.

Borussia Dortmund have made enquiries over Marcus Thuram, according to Foot Mercato (per Get Football News).
Thuram, 22, has made a big impression at Dortmund’s Bundesliga rivals Borussia Monchengladbach since moving from Guingamp in the summer.
His ability up front has now caught the eye of Lucien Favre, although Gladbach will be reluctant to release the young star after such a short period at the club.
