After weeks of speculations, Ooni of Ile-Ife’s new bride, Mariam Anako has finally moved into the ancient Palace of Ile-Ife on Tuesday.
According to a video which was posted on social media, Mariam who is a daughter of ex-Kwara lawmaker, Honourable Chief Sikirat Anako was received by the venerated monarch, His Imperial Majesty, Oba, Dr. Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II in the company of his chiefs and priests in evening.
The New Queen in her mid-30s, is a top management executive (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil Limited; Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the oil and gas sector.
It would be recalled that National Pilot had recently reported the news of the union of the two lovebirds whereby a close family member told the medium that the two had tied the knot secretly, he said, “Yes they’re getting married , as a matter of fact, they have performed the Islamic marriage rite, the Nikkah, but it was done privately”.
However, several efforts to contact the mother of the bride proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
