PDP :Saraki finally breaks silence amidst party’s turbulence ,reiterates support for Atiku

Amidst the rising dust in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a key party stalwart and the immediate past President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has finally broken his silence on the ongoing internal impasse in the party.
According to a post on his verified Twitter account on Saturday, Saraki noted that he is aware that his silence over the happenings in the party has been a source of concern to many people.
He said, “As I moved round the country in the past few days, I got the feeling that many people are concerned over my seeming silence on recent developments in our party, the PDP.“
Giving reason for his silence, Saraki said that he chose to work below the radar for the party, noting that, there are times that it is better to work behind the scene in order to get the desired result
He said, “My response is that there are times to speak and be heard and there are times when working silently behind the scene is more productive. This is such a time.”
The two-term former Governor of Kwara State however reiterated his support for the party and its presidential flagbearer,Atiku Abubakar who he described as the best option for the country ahead of the coming general elections in 2023.
Saraki who just returned from his annual vacation said that, “PDP and Atiku Abubakar remain the best option for Nigerians in the 2023 polls.”
